Prefinished risers are a beautiful addition to any staircase and add real value over painted risers. Our prefinished risers are finished using the exact same methods and machinery as our stair treads for a superior finish and extended durability. By finishing the risers at the same time as the stair tread, the best possible color match is ensured. Just like our stair treads, UV absorbers are added to our prefinished risers to prolong the beauty of the finish.
When ordering risers, be sure to order the same length as the tread for optimal fit.
This riser is Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) that is not stained, but rather coated with a clear natural finish to allow the natural beauty of the wood species to show. Some slight mineral lines and graining is normal in this species.
Risers are 3/4in thick by 7 1/2in high.
